Job summary

Accelerated Claims Inc. is seeking an Account Representative (Claims Specialist) for a fully remote position with one week on-site for orientation.

The role pays a starting rate of $19.00 per hour and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems efficiently. You will work with insurance carriers to research, resolve, and secure payment on outstanding medical claims, ensuring accurate billing and timely reimbursements while maintaining HIPAA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Place outbound calls to insurance carriers to research and resolve claims.
• Review and process medical claims to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
• Enter and update claim information across multiple systems with accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to maximize recovery for clients.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Apply knowledge of medical billing forms (UB-04, CMS-1500) when applicable.
