Sedgwick is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Bill Processor to input and maintain provider demographics, contracts, and medical bill details in our systems. This full-time, US-telecommuter role emphasizes accuracy and high-volume efficiency.

You will code provider bills, enter data, and verify output while following state guidelines; training, mentorship, and career growth are provided within a diverse benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code provider bills and enter pre-coded billing data into the system.
• Verify output and ensure accuracy.
• Identify and forward complex bills to claims examiners.
• Follow workers' compensation/auto guidelines to evaluate the services.
• Compare qualifications of service provider with services provided.
• Assist in account batching and mail distribution.
• Answer customer service calls from providers, clients and claims examiners.
