Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily revenue cycle activities to optimize reimbursement opportunities.
• Verifies benefit coverage to determine patient financial liability.
• Resolves patient billing issues in collaboration with the Professional Billing Office and providers.
• Provides documentation requested by third party payers to enhance reimbursement opportunities.
• Performs charge entry and abstraction of clinical documentation with diagnosis codes and modifiers.
• Works with the billing team to process claims and attachments for claims submissions.
