Job summary

US Digestive Health is seeking an Auditor to act as a liaison for patients and the practice, reviewing professional fee billing, coding and documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and third-party regulations. The role is fully remote with state residency requirements and regular Monday–Friday hours.

You will identify compliance risks, perform reviews, prepare written reports, and educate staff on improvements. AAPC/AHIMA CPMA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Coding certifications (AAPC or AHIMA) and CPMA required.
• Experience auditing physician billing against documentation to ensure compliance.
• Must reside in one of the allowed remote states and be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and effective compliance and operational reviews to assess coding, documentation and billing accuracy.
• Identify compliance risks and revenue capture opportunities.
• Prepare written reports and provide education and training as needed.
• Communicate findings and provide recommendations for improvement when needed.
