Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Medical Biller / Revenue Cycle Management Specialist to manage the full revenue cycle for multiple independent primary care practices in a fully remote, high-growth environment.

You will primarily use Athenahealth and may work with Tebra, eClinicalWorks, Charm Health, AdvancedMD, and customer support tools like HubSpot and Zendesk, coordinating with offshore teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Athenahealth as the primary billing system.
• Experience managing accounts receivable and aging reports.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Experience in healthcare billing and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete revenue cycle for assigned medical practices, from charge entry through payment posting and collections.
• Submit, track, and monitor insurance claims through Athenahealth to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Perform AR follow-up and collections activities to reduce aging and improve cash flow.
• Investigate claim denials, identify root causes, and submit appeals to resolve issues.
• Review aging reports, prioritize outstanding receivables, and resolve open balances.
• Coordinate with leadership on billing performance and process improvements.
• Support offshore billing resources and collaborate with onshore teams.
