Job summary

Currance is hiring a Medical Biller to join our remote billing team. This role oversees and completes administrative responsibilities of insurance billing, corrects rejections, and ensures timely claim processing for a range of healthcare clients.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical billing, proficiency with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, and EPIC; strong data analysis, communication, and time-management skills; and comfort working in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience as a Medical Biller or similar role.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 Diagnosis and CPT/HCPCS codes.
• Understanding of FDA, payer guidelines, and hospital billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies.
• Comply with productivity standards while maintaining quality.
• Ensure proper hospital claim submission and payment through review and correction of claim edits, errors, and denials.
• Investigate, follow up with payers, and work claims as assigned.
• Perform posting billing adjustments.
• Ensure billing reroutes are worked timely and comply with company procedures.
• Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided.
