Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Product Owner to convey the Medicaid product vision and roadmap to an Agile team, defining user stories and prioritizing the backlog. The role requires navigating moderately to complex issues, coordinating with Medicaid stakeholders, and driving delivery within established timelines.

You will document requirements, guide demonstrations for stakeholder feedback, and support testing activities.

Qualifications

Experience leading an Agile product team and delivering working software.
Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable user stories and backlog items.
Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and testers.

Responsibilities

Maximizes value of product created by Agile team.
Liaises with Medicaid market stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, and by the deadline.
Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.
Facilitates weekly product backlog review and review of change requests, enhancements, and development items.
Documents business requirements and builds functional stories and process flows that satisfy business needs.
Supports SIT Testing and coordinates UAT with aligned partners.
Plans upgrades and patches and aligns with business priorities.
