Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Medicaid Prior Authorization Pharmacist to support Medicaid prior authorization processes from a fully remote position in the United States. This role requires active TX or AZ pharmacist licensure and experience with clinical decision-making and formularies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pharmacy experience, including prior authorization or managed care, and is comfortable working in a high-volume remote environment. BS in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.

Qualifications

• Active TX and/or AZ pharmacist license in good standing.
• Secondary license (AZ or TX) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years of pharmacist experience or PGY1 managed care residency with prior authorization experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Medicaid Prior Authorization processes and clinical decision-making.
• Work in a high-volume, remote team environment.
• Review medical records and clinical literature to inform authorization decisions.
