Qualifications

• 2 years with BS/BA; or 6 years with HS Diploma/equivalent
• Typically 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or audit
• Intermediate knowledge of internal audit policies and principles
• Intermediate Medicare/Medicaid or healthcare auditing knowledge
• Intermediate risk assessment and scoping skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excel proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Audits cost reports, claims submissions and performs ad-hoc focused audits.
• Identifies inherent and residual risks and conducts risk-based audits.
• Develops understanding of the function to be audited and identifies findings and improvements.
• Provides progress reports and updates of audit findings.
• Participates in projects/audits.
• Provides research and data analysis for moderately complex projects.
• Stays abreast of new audit developments.
• Telework available from Eastern Time Zone
