SaidGig is seeking a contractor to apply mechatronics expertise to train AI systems for a robotics initiative. You will review video footage of robotic arms performing industrial tasks and produce precise annotations to help models learn from real-world machine behaviour.

Responsibilities include tagging, classifying, commenting on sessions, and identifying mechanical and control issues while meeting project timelines. Remote work is available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Professional background in mechatronics engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience with video annotation or data labeling for robotics or industrial automation.
• Ability to recognize mechanical and control problems in complex machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and a record of producing accurate technical deliverables.
• Understanding of machine failure causes and robotic movement dynamics.
• Experience supporting AI training or machine learning projects is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review recorded sessions of robotic arms executing industrial tasks.
• Tag, classify, and comment on each video session using project guidelines.
• Identify, document, and categorize mechanical and control issues visible in the footage.
• Use knowledge of machine movement, failure modes, and operational dynamics to determine likely causes of failures or inefficiencies.
• Deliver complete, accurate annotations that meet project standards and timelines.
• Work with project coordinators to resolve ambiguities in guidelines or video content.
