Job summary

ManpowerGroup’s client in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to design and optimize fluid handling systems. The role emphasizes AutoCAD-based process flow diagrams, pump and valve sizing, and performing essential flow calculations.

Occasional travel to client sites is required, with remote work most of the time. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, piping, and fluid handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc…
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc…
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
