Job summary

Bookoff McAndrews, PLLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Patent Attorney with 2+ years of patent prosecution experience to join our firm. This is a remote position, with the option to visit the DC office as often as you like.

You will draft and prosecute patent applications and coordinate with clients and BoMc attorneys to develop claim strategies. Responsibilities include managing a docket, supporting a range of clients from startups to Fortune 500s, and performing due diligence, opinions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of patent prosecution experience focused on mechanical engineering.
• Strong organizational and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with inventors and draft patent applications for filing with the USPTO.
• Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO and interview Examiners.
• Manage a docket across diverse clients from startups to Fortune 500s.
• Assist with noninfringement opinions, due diligence, and landscape analyses.
