Job summary

DLB Associates in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join its Mission Critical team focused on hyperscale data centers. You will work with senior design staff to advance mechanical design, produce construction documents, edit project specifications and assist in construction administration.

The role emphasizes hands-on growth in HVAC systems, Revit/AutoCAD work, and client interaction, with opportunity to contribute from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of designing mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of codes, code analysis and specifications for mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of DDC controls and monitoring for HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm / protection system devices.
• MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and strong organization.
• Ability to perform load and ventilation calculations.
• Strong communication and remote-work capabilities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with moderate supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Production of Mechanical Engineering Documents.
• Assist in Pre-Construction Activities and data collection.
• Assist in Construction Activities and review submittals.
• Prepare project progress reports and RFIs.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency.
