Mechanical Engineer II
Remote - work virtually from anywhere in the United States
The position in DLB's Mission Critical Department focuses primarily on hyperscale data centers and related mission critical facilities. The Mechanical Engineer II will have the opportunity to work with and collaborate with senior design staff to advance their mechanical design skills. They will learn, through hands-on application, how to design a wide variety of projects. This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents, develop and edit project specifications and assist in the construction administration process. The Mechanical Engineer II will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May work independently consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or under immediate supervision. May serve as trade lead on routine projects of limited scope. The Mechanical Engineer II will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
