Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for its Evergreen Talent Pool to support DOE projects at Hanford in WA and Portsmouth in KY. The role involves analyses, design development, reviews, field verification, and modernization work across vessels, tanks, piping, and related systems.

Remote collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected. The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET) with 5+ years of relevant experience, U.S.

Qualifikationen

BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 5+ years of experience.
U.S. citizen.
Clearability for DOE site access and potential security clearance.

Aufgaben

Develop, analyze, review, and document mechanical designs for facilities and systems.
Prepare design criteria, specs, datasheets, and drawings.
Evaluate equipment and conditions to support design development and recovery.
Provide mechanical support for D&D and decommissioning activities.
Coordinate interfaces with multi-disciplinary teams.
