AuraOne is seeking a Mechanical Engineering AI Evaluator to remotely review AI outputs, reproduce derivations, and document the correct method for training data. You will assess reasoning, calculations, and literature citations to ensure accuracy and reproducibility of results.

The role is a contractor, hourly-rate position with workload defined by program needs. Strong domain expertise in mechanical engineering and proven ability to produce clear, citable explanations are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level training or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Experience publishing, teaching, or advising on the topic.
• Clear written reasoning citing methods, papers, or worked examples.
• Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review AI outputs against current mechanical engineering methods, conventions, and prior work for Mechanical Engineering AI Evaluator assignments.
• Reproduce or sanity-check key derivations, calculations, or experimental claims.
• Flag dimensional, methodological, and citation errors with structured severity tags.
