Fireclay Partners is seeking an Investment Banking Associate — current MBA student for a part-time, remote role. You will support M&A and private markets advisory through research, financial analysis, and document preparation while balancing MBA commitments.

This position emphasizes self-direction, clear deliverables, and collaboration with senior team members; 10–15 hours per week, within the United States.

Formación

• Current MBA enrollment with strong academic performance.
• Analytical judgment and dependable execution with finance/consulting background valued.
• Interest in investment banking, M&A, private equity, or corporate finance.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review company, industry, and competitive research for business development and transaction execution.
• Develop financial analyses and valuations using public comparables, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow methods.
• Contribute to pitch materials, information memoranda, buyer and acquisition-target lists, and data room content.
• Assess strategic fit and synthesize research into concise recommendations for senior team members.
• Support outreach preparation, coverage tracking, and internal reporting for private equity and strategic acquirer relationships.
• Help coordinate analyst research, review work for accuracy, and support timely delivery of project assignments.
