Role Summary: Play a vital role in AI advancement by creating, reviewing, and refining mathematical problem sets that challenge and elevate large language model reasoning. Your work will directly impact benchmark designs used globally and contribute to cutting-edge academic research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intricate math problems spanning combinatorics, discrete math, and logic for LLM testing
  • Critically evaluate model solutions; document reasoning gaps and suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with international research teams for benchmark refinement
  • Prepare clear, structured analyses for publication or knowledge sharing

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong background in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related fields
  • Extensive experience solving rigorous mathematical problems and conducting research
  • Ability to explain complex ideas simply and provide actionable feedback
  • Skilled in academic writing for technical audiences

Compensation & Contract:

  • Compensation: $50–$150 per hour, based on skills and experience. (paid once every two weeks).
  • Duration: 1 week to 3 months (project-based; extension possible).
  • Hours: Up to 30 hrs/week.
  • Time Zone: 2–5 hrs/day overlap with UTC-8 (America/Los_Angeles), confirmed near onboarding.
