Job summary
Think Academy US is seeking a part-time remote Math Competition Tutor to support students in the United States preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10. The role involves delivering online one-on-one math lessons in English, guiding problem-solving strategies, and helping students build confidence for national math contests.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or above, have experience with math competitions or tutoring, and are available weekday evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
- Experience in math competitions or competition teaching is highly preferred.
- Strong math foundation; familiarity with AMC, AIME, or MathCounts is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 preparation.
- Teach in English using interactive, problem-solving methods.
- Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies.
- Help students develop systematic approaches to number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.
- Support students in developing confidence and test-taking strategies for math competitions.
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance for continuous improvement.
