Varsity Tutors is seeking a Math 1 tutor for the Live Learning Platform. You will teach online sessions with flexible scheduling and competitive rates, all from home. The platform matches you with students and offers real-time teaching tools to enhance lessons.

You can earn up to $40/hour, get paid biweekly, and set your own hours. No commuting is required, and invoicing is handled by Varsity Tutors.

Qualifications

• Advanced mastery of linear equations, inequalities, functions and data analysis.
• Ability to explain slope-intercept form, function notation, and transformations.
• Familiarity with Integrated Math 1 curricula and Common Core standards.
• Strong communication and adaptable teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage scheduling with students.
