Responsibilities

• Design difficult technical problems in materials science with realistic constraints
• Provide correct solutions and detailed reasoning for each problem
• Define objective criteria for correctness for expert evaluations
• Review problems built by others for technical accuracy and soundness
• Flag ambiguous or ungradable problems instead of submitting them
• Utilize engineering judgment to identify when an answer is incorrect
• Analyze and evaluate structure-property relationships and failure analysis
