Job summary

Thriveworks is actively seeking provisionally licensed clinicians in Massachusetts for telehealth sessions with Massachusetts licensure pursuit. This position offers a ramp stipend for clinicians committing 30+ hours per week and eligible benefits for full-time staff.

We provide credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support, plus paid orientation. Remote scheduling spans seven days a week, with a wide patient caseload and ongoing supervision available as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be seeking independent licensure and reside in Massachusetts.
• Must travel to meet Supervisor in person for initial supervision.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision preferred.
• Available for at least 25 sessions weekly with 30 hours of availability.
• Open to treating couples and children.
• Invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress.
• Confident with telehealth and EHR tools.

Thriveworks is currently seeking provisionally licensed individuals in Massachusetts pursuing Massachusetts State Licensure as an LMHC to provide telehealth sessions. This role is eligible for a competitive ramp stipend for clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week.

About The Role

We’re hiring licensed clinicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our more than 175,000 clients across the country. You may be a good fit for this role if you’re:

• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Massachusetts
• Must be willing to travel to meet assigned Supervisor in person for the initial supervision session
• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.
• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
• A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
• Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
• A good teammate — we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors

Compensation

Up to $73,600 based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. Full-time clinicians are eligible for health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, paid time off, and other employer-sponsored benefits.

How We Support You

We handle the administrative work so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care. That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started. You'll build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible scheduling available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
