Job summary

McGaw.io is hiring a Managing Consultant, MarTech (EMEA) for a remote position with a focus on Europe-time zones. You will own client engagements end to end, leading strategy, design, and delivery of MarTech solutions across CDP, analytics, and lifecycle messaging.

In this player-coach role, you’ll balance strategic guidance with hands-on work, direct engineers and contract developers, and collaborate with global accounts to grow revenue across markets.

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship. Primary contact for executives and client stakeholders.
• Run cadence: biweekly client meetings, monthly roadmap and SOW reviews, quarterly business reviews.
• Keep three or more months of planned work on the roadmap for every account.
• Protect the budget. Flag pacing, overages, and under-use as soon as the trend appears.
• Find where the client’s revenue leaks across acquisition, conversion, and retention; tie recommendations to metrics.
• Build growth roadmaps with the client.
• Show what moving to a stage of maturity is worth to them.
• Design the stack architecture: CDP, analytics, lifecycle messaging, warehouse, and integrations.
• Do hands-on work: taxonomy design, measurement plans, attribution modeling, segmentation logic, QA.
• Direct engineers and contract developers; review work before it reaches the client.
• Delegate on purpose; balance strategy vs execution per account.
• Supports some pre-sales discovery to identify opportunities and needs.
• Build the proposal: scope, phasing, level of effort, and business case; present live.
• Price work to stay profitable; accurate estimates beat heroic recoveries.
• Support Sales through close and take account into delivery when appropriate.
• Every scope change gets estimated, documented, and confirmed in writing before work starts.
