Axiom is seeking a Marketing & Regulatory Counsel to guide advertising, labeling and product claims for regulated consumer products. This role focuses on OTC, oral care, cosmetics and homeopathic lines, balancing legal risk with practical business needs.

You will partner with marketing teams, shape regulatory strategy, and oversee risk related to claims and litigation, while coordinating with outside counsel as required in a fast-paced environment. Remote options available.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on advertising, labeling, and product claims for regulated consumer products.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment applicable to OTC, oral care, cosmetic, homeopathic, or similar consumer products.
• Experience assessing claims support and identifying potential regulatory and litigation risks.
• Ability to balance legal risk with broader business objectives rather than taking an overly restrictive approach.
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.

Responsabilités

• Review and approve advertising, marketing materials, product claims, and labeling.
• Assess claims to determine the applicable regulatory category and level of support required.
• Advise marketing teams on regulatory constraints while helping identify practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Evaluate and manage litigation and regulatory risk associated with product claims and advertising.
• Coordinate with outside counsel as needed and take ownership of legal and risk-based decisions.
• Provide timely, practical guidance in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight.
