Job summary

Hillel International seeks a Fundraising and Marketing Intern to support grassroots fundraising and campus marketing efforts. You will write and design donor-focused materials, and help with the Hillel Hub collateral from a remote position.

Ideal candidates are current college students with strong writing and storytelling skills, Canva design experience, and familiarity with email platforms. The role offers mentorship and hands-on supervision within a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and research skills in fundraising or storytelling.
• Graphic design using Canva to create donor-focused materials.
• Experience with email and social media marketing platforms.
• Ability to shift quickly between projects and manage multiple briefs.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Understanding of Hillel and the Hillel movement.
• Strong portfolio or work examples in persuasive writing and design.

Responsibilities

• Write fundraising email drafts each week.
• Design email headers, social graphics, and collateral.
• Build emails in Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar platforms.
• Support campus newsletters and donor communications.
• Review data and suggest strategic improvements.
• Learn and apply field-wide best practices and trends.
• Take on mid-project assignments and continue ongoing campaigns.
