Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to design and execute strategies that grow and retain customers while promoting energy conservation programs.

The role collaborates with business development, customer service, and operations, liaises with internal teams and external providers, and ensures consistent communications across brands and services.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related work experience.
• Strategist-level knowledge and experience in marketing communications.
• Experience with CRM, Marketing Platforms (Salesforce and HubSpot).
• Ability to create, analyze and report critical information to senior management.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic mindset.
• Strong time management and project management skill set.
• High level of initiative.
• Proficient computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets).
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
• Bilingual – English & Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing communications plans guided by department objectives.
• Measure and analyze campaign performance on a routine basis, and report findings to leadership periodically.
• Track key business drivers, market issues, and latest trends in communications techniques to find innovative solutions that drive sales productivity.
• Work independently and make business decisions with guidance from leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams or projects.
• Utilize experience, judgment and precedents to recommend best practices.
• Explain information to others in a straightforward manner.
• Focus on work that promotes collaboration, standardization, consistency and scale.
• Oversee Mandatory Messaging Campaigns for assigned territories and services.
• Record keeping and compliance.
• Comfortable creating and giving presentations to internal and external audiences.
