Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Market Development Analyst to drive growth through market research, competitive analysis, and business opportunity assessments. This remote role partners with business development, marketing, and strategy to translate insights into actionable recommendations for the clinical research industry.

You will identify market trends, evaluate competitors, and develop client insights to inform strategic planning and service expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
2–4 years of market research or business analysis experience.
Experience with data analysis and industry databases.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and synthesize market data on industry trends, competitive activities, and business opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Research and evaluate competitor service offerings, market positioning, and strategies to identify competitive differentiators and enhancement opportunities.
Support the evaluation and financial analysis of potential business opportunities, market entries, and service expansions through business case development.
Analyze client needs, preferences, and satisfaction data to develop segmentation models and value propositions aligned with market opportunities.
Prepare analytical reports, presentations, and market-focused materials that communicate findings and recommendations to business audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, and account management to gather insights and support strategic initiatives.
