Job summary
Health4Crew seeks a Fleet Medical Advisor for a 100% remote, part-time role that fits alongside your current clinical work. You’ll cover a predictable schedule, around 10 days per month on call, answering medical inquiries from seafarers and shipping companies.
You’ll review PEME results, provide expert second opinions, stay current on maritime medicine, and collaborate with our doctor-led team under the Chief Medical Officer, influencing fleet health across international operations.
Qualifications
- Licensed physician in good standing.
- Experience in occupational or maritime medicine.
- Telemedicine or remote consultation experience.
- Russian, Ukrainian, or Filipino language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review PEME results uploaded to Health4Crew and flag documentation issues.
- Provide expert second opinions on discrepancies or concerns in medical reports.
- Stay current on maritime medicine developments to reflect best practice.
- Call & email coverage: answer medical inquiries during rotation days.
- Work under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.
- Collaborate with the clinical team on fleet trends and insights.
- Contribute to medical awareness materials for ship clients.
