Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator (US) to assess the aesthetic quality, readability, and polish of digital map designs from an English (US) perspective. This remote freelance role focuses on an estimated 8–10 hours per week.

You will evaluate user-focused elements, including viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance, and you will follow project instructions, tagging issues such as icons not properly masked and labels that are too small to keep maps

Qualifications

• Requirements include being located in the United States with right to work.
• An active Gmail account with prior usage on Google Maps.
• Participation limited to up to three project rounds and project updates will be provided as rounds become available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
• Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
• Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).
