Job summary

Agile Dna in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Manual/Automation Tester with 3+ years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. You will design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities include functional, regression, and API testing across web and mobile applications; developing automation with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright; and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts.
Experience in at least one automation tool/framework (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
Familiarity with version control systems (Github).
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and user stories.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing across web/mobile applications.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams for timely resolution.
Prepare test summary reports and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.
