Job summary

Infoblox seeks a Manager, Finance to lead the R&D FP&A team. You’ll own COGS/OpEx reporting, SaaS margin analytics, and Product P&Ls feeding Board reporting. You’ll manage Anaplan deployment and a small analyst team, applying AI tools to accelerate insights.

Collaborating with R&D leaders, Corporate FP&A, Accounting, and Sales Finance, you’ll optimize cloud costs, automate processes, and advance finance modernization across the function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience in a SaaS, software, or technology environment.
• Strong hands-on Anaplan experience (IFP/IFS) including model building; Anaplan Model Builder certification is a plus.
• Deep understanding of SaaS unit economics and renewal dynamics; translate into Product P&Ls and Board reporting.
• Experience with month- and quarter-end close for OpEx and COGS, including accruals and journal entries.
• Knowledge of software capitalization under ASC 350-40 for internal-use costs.
• Experience allocating cloud infrastructure costs across COGS and R&D OpEx.
• Strong Excel skills and aptitude with large data sets and multiple sources.
• Comfort using AI tools to improve finance workflows and insights.
• People leadership experience with direct management responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field; diverse backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AnaplanBvA and quarterly forecast process for Product, Engineering, and Security/InfoSec.
• Lead SaaS margin analytics and Product P&Ls across regions and platforms.
• Maintain and refine Product P&Ls (ARR, revenue, COGS, OpEx, EBITDA).
• Manage monthly/quarterly close for R&D cost centers and SaaS COGS; assist with close processes.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure cost allocation between COGS and R&D OpEx.
• Design PO approval routing and open PO tracking for R&D cost centers.
• Support internal/external audits for R&D expense, capex, and allocations.
• Develop and lead a two-person Finance team; align methodologies across the org.
• Apply AI tools to build dynamic reporting and pattern-based insights.
