Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States (remote) is seeking a Manager, Clinical Databases & Integrations to lead database development, implementation, and clinical systems integrations across Medtronic's clinical research activities.

You will provide operational leadership, resource management, process ownership, and strategic direction to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable data solutions that support global studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in clinical data management or related areas.
• Experience in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop database development, implementation, and interface management teams supporting clinical research operations.
• Manage resource allocation, workload prioritization, and team capacity planning to ensure quality, timeline, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Serve as the business process owner for database development and clinical systems integration processes, driving standardization and continuous improvement.
• Oversee clinical database development, implementation, testing, and system integration activities supporting clinical studies.
• Maintain Development and Interface SOPs, quality documentation, and process controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor operational metrics, forecasts, and delivery performance to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Clinical Research, Data & Safety Management, Information Technology, and Operating Unit stakeholders to support delivery excellence and business continuity.
• Lead resolution of complex operational issues, escalations, and cross-functional challenges impacting database development and interface services.
