Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Mainframe Systems Analyst/Interface & Documentation Specialist on a 12+ months contract located in the U.S. Remote.

The role focuses on end-to-end interfacing, data flow analysis, and comprehensive documentation for Navy Federal review and acceptance. The position requires COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM and Systematics skills, with emphasis on source-to-target mapping, traceability, and artifact handover.

Qualifications

• Strong COBOL/CICS/DB2 knowledge for mainframe interfaces.
• Experience with JCL, VSAM and copybooks/file layouts.
• Ability to map end-to-end data flows and dependencies.
• Document source evidence and unresolved assumptions clearly.
• Collaborate with business owners and SMEs.

Responsabilités

• Provide independently verified source-to-target mappings and an interface inventory for interfaces.
• Develop data-flow diagrams, traceability, and supporting PBIs or notes.
• Document artifacts and conduct walkthroughs for review against acceptance criteria.
