Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Storage Systems Programmer to support storage infrastructure, including DASD, tape, encryption, and replication for DR. You will perform backups, migrations, and daily customer support within a remote-friendly team.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years with a bachelor’s degree; relevant work experience accepted.
• Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience with DASD and tape subsystems performance analysis.
• Extensive IBM storage software skills (Copy Services Manager, Global Mirroring, SMS, HSM, IDCAMS, DFDSS).
• Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and data center migrations.
• Excellent knowledge of catalog structures, LPAR sysplexes, and resource sharing.
• Experience with DASD hardware configurations and replication.

Aufgaben

• Provide DASD and tape storage administration for customers.
• Manage storage pools for multiple customers and LPARs.
• Diagnose problems and drive resolution.
• Create and oversee backup jobs (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Participate in Data Center migrations using multiple methods.
• Perform data and volume recovery and data migrations between storage frames.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery tests.
• Interact with account management and customers; coordinate with vendors.
• Mentor and train Storage team members.
