Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks an experienced Mainframe Performance Management Engineer to lead migrations to OMEGAMON in a remote USA role. You will analyze environments, craft migration strategies, and implement performance monitoring in enterprise z/OS settings.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in z/OS, OMEGAMON hands-on work, and strong TSO/ISPF, REXX, SMP/E skills. Excellent communication and cross‑functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in z/OS Mainframe Administration and performance management.
• Hands-on OMEGAMON implementation, admin, support, or migrations.
• Strong experience with TSO/ISPF, REXX, and SMP/E.
• Experience migrating from MainView/Sysview/ASG TMON to OMEGAMON.
• Analytical, troubleshoot and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead migrations from third‑party tools to OMEGAMON.
• Assess environments and develop migration plans and estimates.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot solutions in z/OS.
• Create migration docs, procedures, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with customers, PMs, and teams to deliver.
