Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Mail Operations Pharmacist 2 who will dispense medications accurately and ensure quality assurance before shipping to patients.

The role requires a Pharmacy degree and active licensure in AZ, FL, OH or TX, with at least three years of high-volume pharmacy experience. The position demands independence, problem-solving, and the ability to work with Federal prescription programs, using MS Office tools and sharing information electronically.

Qualifications

• Must have a Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must be actively licensed as a Pharmacist in Arizona, Florida, Ohio or Texas without disciplinary action.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a high-volume retail, community, or traditional mail order pharmacy.
• Must have the ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Proficient with computers such as MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint and troubleshoot and resolve general technical difficulties such as your home internet/modem.
• Preferred Qualifications: PharmD.
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish - You will be required to pass a language assessment.

• Adhere to quality assurance standards, tracking techniques and a thorough review process prior to shipping medications to patients.
• Partner to influence the department's strategy and work independently with shared resources.
