HCLTech in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a highly talented System Engineer (MacOS, Modern C++, Sensor Engineering) to advance security on-device. You will work on a macOS sensor that monitors activity, blocks malicious behavior, and streams telemetry to the cloud.

The role requires high concurrency, performance focus, and cross-platform code with Windows and Linux. Qualified candidates will have strong C++17/20 and Swift 6, macOS systems programming, and experience with XPC, launchd, and Instruments

Competenze

• Languages: modern C++ (C++17/20) and Swift 6; include Objective-C++ bridging.
• macOS systems programming with Foundation/CoreFoundation, GCD, POSIX APIs, Mach IPC, launchd, and XPC.
• Performance and debugging using Instruments, os_signpost, LLDB, crash logs, and XCTest.

Mansioni

• Work on the macOS sensor, an on-device security agent, with high concurrency.
• Monitor file, process, network and identity activity; block malicious behavior.
• Stream telemetry to the cloud and integrate with Windows/Linux codebase.
