Job summary

Varsity Tutors is seeking experienced Machine Learning tutors for its Live Learning Platform. You’ll teach online, set flexible hours, invoice for sessions, and earn competitive rates up to $40/hour, with payments issued twice per week.

The role involves explaining advanced ML topics, adapting to student needs, and using Python with scikit-learn in Jupyter notebooks to demonstrate concepts. Our AI Tutor Copilot provides real-time support, saving prep time and enhancing lessons.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Ability to explain regression, decision trees, SVMs, neural nets.
• Familiar with Python data stack (NumPy, pandas) and scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online sessions and tailor explanations to individual students.
• Explain ML concepts clearly and guide problem-solving during sessions.
• Adapt instruction to diverse learning styles and student needs.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage scheduling within platform.
