A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to support the Aetna Specialty Medical Prior Authorization team in a remote work-from-home setting. You will handle PA requests, communicate with physician offices, and oversee fax processing while maintaining complete documentation.

The role includes inbound calls, loading authorizations, and following up as needed. After-hours on-call support is required, with referrals to Pharmacists/MD teams as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license in any US state, territory or DC.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• License number must be provided.

Responsabilités

• Process specialty medication prior authorization requests.
• Communicate PA status with physician offices and departments.
• Oversee fax processing and manage inbound calls.
• Load authorizations and perform follow-up calls with documentation.
• Review criteria-based PA per policy and procedure.
• Provide after-hours nurse support for urgent PA requests.
• Refer non-qualifying cases to Pharmacists/MD teams.
• Support PA team and member services with nurse assistance.
