Job summary

TBD is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing healthcare team in Whittier, CA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive clinical environment, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds an active CA LVN license, current BLS/CPR, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Prior clinical experience in medical office, long-term care, or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist physicians and RNs in performing clinical procedures and patient assessments.
• Document patient information, medical histories, and treatment progress accurately in EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
• Collect lab specimens and assist with diagnostic procedures as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant clinical environment per infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
