Job summary
University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Richardson, TX, to provide advanced paraprofessional patient care and nursing services to physically ill patients. This regular full-time role requires a Texas LVN license and 1 year of LVN experience, with preferred BLS certification and a Texas BON license in good standing.
Open to a hybrid work arrangement after probation, within the DFW area.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved Vocational Nursing school.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams.
- Assist clinicians with in-office procedures.
- CLIA-waived laboratory tests.
- Perform venipuncture for routine labs.
- Administer medications/injections as ordered.
- Other nursing functions as assigned.
