Overview

The LTC Pharmacy Adjudicator is responsible for communicating with communities about order exceptions such as non-formulary, expensive medications, and incomplete orders. This role involves working closely with community staff to clarify orders and suggest less expensive alternatives, coordinating Medicare D claims adjudication, and maintaining accurate, timely billing and account updates.

Working Schedule

  • 12:00pm-8:30PM Mon-Fri and every 3rd weekend 2:30PM-11PM.
  • Must work holidays.
  • Must currently reside in a state where Symbria Rx Services is licensed: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, PA, OH, WI.
  • 100% Remote.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with communities regarding medication orders, educate on alternatives, and clarify incomplete orders.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and follow up as needed.
  • Follow policies for medication changes and clarifications.
  • Engage professionally with community management staff via phone or email.
  • Assist with data entry and answer calls for the data entry department.
  • Review Medicare D rejections, coordinate claim adjudication, and resolve denials.
  • Prepare for formulary changes and perform insurance and billing duties.
  • Act as liaison between patients and third parties.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide backup support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements (licensed in Illinois and Massachusetts within 60 days of hire).
  • Minimum one year of data entry experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize.
  • Strong knowledge of drugs and medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prescription billing experience (minimum one year).
