AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time, field-based patient care in the Chicago area, covering from S. Chicago to Hyde Park.

Under RN supervision, you will provide direct nursing care to pediatric through geriatric patients, perform medication administration, document progress, and maintain accurate medical records. The position offers a 8-5 weekday schedule and a competitive salary range of $66,000–$77,000 based on experience.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the operating state.
• One year LVN/LPN work experience.
• Must possess CPR certification.
• Licensed driver able to travel to all locations.

Responsabilidades

• Performs nursing functions and direct patient care under an RN.
• Promotes and maintains optimal client care under RN supervision.
• Maintains a safe patient environment.
• Identifies abnormalities in patient data and communicates to case manager.
• Administers prescribed medications and reviews medications for safety.
• Re-evaluates nursing needs and reports findings to the Case Manager.
• Counsels and instructs clients and families in nursing needs.
