Job summary

Acrisure's Next Level Administrators seek an experienced Lost Time Adjuster to join its Workers’ Compensation Claims Department. This role reviews Lost Time claims and determines appropriate actions for resolution.

Responsibilities include managing caseload, thorough investigations, reserving, settlement evaluations, and ensuring timely payments. Requires strong communication, analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; multi-state commercial claims experience preferred.
• Lost time workers’ compensation claims experience preferred.
• Maintain all professional licenses and pass state tests where required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage desk- and caseload of claims efficiently and professionally.
• Investigate claims including coverage, liability and exposure.
• Evaluate exposures and maintain reserves on all files.
• Control and manage litigation issues.
• Evaluate claims for settlement and negotiate with claimants/attorneys.
• Control and manage medical issues within claims.
• Evaluate claims for resolution.
• Keep claim files documented and updated.
• Ensure payments are accurate and timely.
