Job summary

EXL Survey and Risk Control is seeking seasoned professionals to schedule on-site surveys and deliver risk evaluations for commercial insurance clients. You will prepare risk improvement reports, support underwriting decisions, and manage assignments to meet client deadlines.

Candidates should have 10+ years in risk control with insurers or brokers, strong communication, and familiarity with commercial insurance challenges. This is a field role with home-office work and local travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a major insurance carrier and/or national broker in commercial Property & Casualty Risk / Loss Control.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Knowledge or experience in commercial insurance, inspections, or fire and safety assessments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk evaluation and risk improvement reports to insurance industry clients.
• Manage assignments, secure customer appointments within a local territory and complete work on time.
• Travel to client sites and work from home when not in the field; cover Boston, Springfield and Northampton, MA areas.
