Job summary

The LoopRoots Foundation is looking for a Program Development Coordinator (Volunteer) to help design and launch the LoopTalk initiative, providing emotional support to justice-impacted individuals. This remote position requires 20-25 hours of work per week and offers a chance to collaborate directly with organizational leadership.

As part of your role, you will conduct research, develop program policies, recruit and train volunteers, and create resource materials. Ideal candidates will have experience in peer support or related fields and a passion for community service.

Qualifications

• Experience in peer support, mental health, behavioral health, or nonprofit management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills required.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Research existing warm-line and peer support programs.
• Develop recommendations for the LoopTalk service model.
• Create program policies and operating guidelines.
• Design volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Develop volunteer training materials.
