InterExchange seeks a Part‑Time Local Coordinator in the New Haven, CT area to support Au Pair USA families and au pairs. This hybrid role blends program administration with hands‑on community coordination and grassroots marketing.

You will build relationships in your local area, conduct interviews, organize cultural events, and help host families and au pairs connect meaningfully while earning hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a computer and the internet.
• Ability to attend domestic training and conferences.
• Professional references available.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint au pair with the local community while providing year‑round support to families and au pairs.
• Coordinate program administration and hands‑on tasks within your local cluster.
• Develop relationships and resolve conflicts between families and au pairs.
• Network locally and participate in grassroots marketing efforts.
• Maintain monthly records and report outcomes.
• Conduct in‑home interviews within 60 miles of New Haven, CT.
• Organize monthly cultural events and orientations for new arrivals.
• Coordinate annual Family Day events and provide housing support when needed.
