InterExchange is seeking a Local Coordinator to support Au Pair USA participants in the St. Louis area. The hybrid, part-time role focuses on community outreach, relationship building, and coordinating events while providing year-round support to host families and au pairs.

Responsibilities include in-home interviews, monthly cultural events, and ongoing local marketing efforts, with scope for occasional travel and training. Compensation includes mileage reimbursement and stipends.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a computer and internet.
• Willing to attend domestic training and conferences.
• Professional references required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to conduct in-person interviews within 60-mile radius of St. Louis.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint au pair with the local community and provide year-round support.
• Facilitate relationship building and conflict resolution between host families and au pairs.
• Organize monthly cultural events for au pairs.
• Conduct in-home interviews with prospective host families.
• Coordinate Family Day events and provide housing support in emergencies.
• Maintain monthly record-keeping and participate in grassroots marketing.
