Duties:

1. Gather all documents from the customer, including:

• Loan application, W2s, 1099s, bank statements, credit reports, employment and income verification

Communicate with the borrower regarding any additional information needed

Enter all borrower information into the desktop system using DU LP

Present all loan documentation to underwriters for review and decisioning

Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines

Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of loan processing experience across various mortgage loans such as Conventional, Adjustable, Sub-Prime, HHA, and VA loans. Ability to work independently at a fast pace, with strong communication and organizational skills.
2. Position type: Hybrid / Contract to hire
3. Start ASAP at Petaluma Branch
4. Hourly pay: $25 to $28 plus overtime, BOE
5. Bonus: Up to $ per loan processed, plus a $150 bonus per funded loan. The loan partner manages 15-20 active files monthly and handles 3-5 pre-approvals daily.
6. Strong knowledge of Encompass software is essential.

This role involves processing loans and interacting with clients, underwriters, and internal staff. Knowledge of underwriting guidelines is a plus.
