Job summary

Matura Farrington in San Diego, CA, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex matters from inception through trial and post-judgment proceedings. The role requires strong litigation skills, advanced eDiscovery experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted workflows.

The position offers primarily remote work with occasional in-office attendance as needed, and a 1,500-hour annual billable expectation.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Advanced case management, discovery, law and motion, and trial preparation skills.
• Experience managing large-scale eDiscovery projects.
• Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Logikcull, Reveal, etc.
• Familiarity with TAR, CAL, predictive coding, analytics, and AI-assisted document review.
• Ability to responsibly utilize and validate generative AI tools for litigation support workflows.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, court rules, discovery requirements, and docketing.

Responsibilities

• Support complex matters from inception through trial and post-judgment proceedings.
• Manage urgent deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Lead large-scale eDiscovery projects and coordinate with attorneys.
